I was listening to my pirates of the caribbean soundtrack and had the urge to sketch davy jones. :) it was meant to be sketchy and sorta painterly looking.

2 1/2 hours with Photoshop and a tablet.

At first I thought this was a screenshot from the movie lol, but wow this is amazing
you have really done an excellent job on this character, everything about this piece is stunning!

This is too good! And in only 2.5 hrs? Amazing! I love the shading and lighting and his eyes are gorgeous! It's so realistic!

I find it amazing how people can create such wonderful works of art and do it so well in such a short time period and never take the time to comment back on peoples reviews. On this picture, I rather like how it turned out, even though I find the man/creature/character himself to be rather disgusting. X3 The coloration is wonderful, and I can't think of a better way to make it both painterly and realistic than either Photoshop or Procreate painter. The lighting is good, too, like the sun is starting to set a bit. I think it needs more shadows to accentuate whats dark and whats light, though.

Keep it up an finish it. :)
