self portrait. sorta.

something i started working on between projects. originally it started as a quick digital study but it evolved into hyper-realism practice. i got a little lazy around the neck area so i'm not too happy about that area. and i say it's a self portrait because i used a photo of me as a reference even though the end result doesn't really have any resemblance to me at all. even so, i still might use this as a id.

oh, and i was inspired by a photo i saw a while ago. i wish i could link back to it but i can't remember where i saw it! its driving me crazy! i remember it was a portrait of a man, he was looking up (i think), lighting from above and with a vintage style wallpaper in the background. haha it wasn't anything special i just liked how it looked. and if anyone knows what i'm talking about, link me the photo cuz i'd love to see it again! haha
